Table Thai Massage, November 6 & 7, 2021

-sorry, class is full-

Want to do Thai massage without moving to the floor? This class will show you how to integrate the passive stretches and deep compressions of Thai massage with your existing table routine for a more powerful session your clients will love! BRING A FRIEND and save, see info below.

Join us if you are new to Thai or already practicing and want to learn more adaptations for the table. Learn an hour routine with the client clothed (or unclothed and draped), working prone & supine.  (Note: only the Thai massage portions are taught, we assume you know swedish massage already).

A two-day 16 CE hour class at a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Lewes, Delaware.

Space is limited so register early, no later than October 15th.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6 & 7 2021, 8:30am-5:30pm, 16 NCBTMB CEs, $300pp, or $500 for two with our BRING A FRIEND DISCOUNT. You must register together at the same time with one person paying the full cost; see details under Table Thai Registration.

Combine this class by staying another day for the wonderful Thai Herbal Compresses class on Monday Nov 8. The compresses are a fantastic addition to your table massage!

HOUSING: This workshop will be held at a spacious Inn in southern coastal Delaware, just outside the historic town of Lewes at the terminus of the Cape May-Lewes ferry. For a truly immersive experience you can stay overnight at the Inn. There are 6 queen bedrooms, each with private bath, available at a deeply discounted price, with a continental breakfast included. If you register with our BRING A FRIEND discount and share a room and bed with your friend, the cost is even less. The Inn is closed for the off-season so you will not enjoy it’s usual 5 star experience, but it is a lovely place to use for a workshop nonetheless. Use the link below to reserve a room before OCTOBER 22nd.

THINGS TO KNOW & BRING: Please bring a massage table if you can. Your own linens, head pillow, and bolsters. No lubricant is needed because we will work clothed (you will be shown how to drape but we will remain clothed in class), so please wear loose comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement, with minimal buttons and zippers (such as yoga pants, sweat pants, loose cotton pants, pajama bottoms, t-shirt, long-sleeved top, sweatshirt, shirts with at least a small sleeve, no jeans or tight pants). Bring layers and socks to wear for your own comfort (it may be cool at times because we will be leaving the windows open). Please have finger and toe-nails trimmed, and since we sometimes use our feet in Thai massage consider getting a pedicure. Bring water and lunch or a snack to put in the shared fridge, or restaurants are 10min away by car. You are welcome to use the fridge and microwave on-site; but there are no stove cooking facilities available. Please bring clean clothes and a clean face mask for each day of class.

No smoking is allowed on the property.
