Table Thai Massage, in DE

Want to do Thai massage without moving to the floor? This class will show you how to integrate the passive stretches and deep compressions of Thai massage with your existing table routine for a more powerful session your clients will love.

Join us if you are new to Thai or already practicing and want to learn more adaptations for the table. Learn an hour routine with the client clothed (or unclothed and draped), working prone & supine.  (Note: only the Thai massage portions are taught, we assume you know swedish massage already).

A two-day 16 hour class at a beautiful Bed & Breakfast Inn in Lewes, Delaware.

Space is limited so register early, no later than March 1st.

TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY, March 16  & 17, 2021, 9am-6pm, 16 NCBTMB CEs.

Only $300.

HOUSING: This workshop will be held at a spacious Inn in southern coastal Delaware, just outside the historic town of Lewes at the terminus of the Cape May-Lewes ferry. For a truly immersive experience you can stay overnight at the Inn. There are 6 queen bedrooms, each with private bath, available at a deeply discounted price, with a light continental breakfast included. If you share a room and bed with a friend who is already part of your household ‘bubble’, the cost is even less. The Inn is closed for the off-season so you will not enjoy it’s usual 5 star experience, but it is a lovely place to use for a workshop nonetheless. Use the link below to reserve a room before MARCH 1st.

THINGS TO KNOW & BRING: Please bring a massage table if you can. Your own linens, head pillow, and bolsters. Because we will work clothed (you will be shown how to drape but we will not work unclothed in class), wear loose comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement, with minimal buttons and zippers (such as yoga pants, sweat pants, loose cotton pants, t-shirt, long-sleeved top, sweatshirt, shirts with at least a small sleeve), no jeans or tight shorts. Bring layers to wear for your own comfort (it may be cool at times because we will be leaving the windows open). Please have finger and toe-nails trimmed, and since we sometimes use our feet in Thai massage consider getting a pedicure. Bring a lunch or snack to put in the shared fridge or restaurants are 10min away by car. You are welcome to use the shared fridge and microwave on-site; but there are no stove cooking facilities available.

No smoking is allowed on the property.
